Generic Q-Negotiation Protocol applied to Disruption Management in Airlines Ops

Read Time:42 Second

This video shows the Generic Q-Negotiation protocol (GQN), applied to disruption management in airline operations control. It is implemented and running under Jade.

Functions like Event Detection and Impact Assessment and stakeholders such as AOCC Supervisor, Aircraft Manager, Crew Manager and Passenger Service Manager, are represented by software agents each one with their own goals and objectives.

Specialist software agents, at a lower level and implementing optimisation algorithms, look for the best partial solutions to the problems and the managers build and negotiate an integrated solution to propose to the supervisor agent that has a global view of the problem.

All of them engage in a multi-round negotiation so that the best solution for all is found.

This protocol if the CORE of the Masdima Suite of products. For more information see https://masdima.com/home/
